From out of the dark in our mother’s wombs…
Life truly starts when we see the light. Our first sight of life, is the mother’s smile, a (myriad) rainbow of many colors and light around us.
Softly we see light. Slowly we feel life…
As we take our first steps, and take more steps to life…
Our ways are lighted, guided with love and care. We share moments with those who care for us, in the warmth of our homes.
As we go out and explore the world around us. We learn and discover more. We start to see life outside the home, play with other kids, in playgrounds, in the malls; or walk under the stars at night, in safe, and well-lighted streets.
Light guides our ways and keeps us company through our journey.

As we grow older to become adults we journey on through busy and challenging lives. And we need light to lead our path as we go on our ways, to follow our dreams and live life to the fullest.
But Life is not all about toil.
Sharing hearty meals with friends and family, bonding with love ones –we take much needed breaks.
In our walk through life, we need to stop awhile, to recharge, for our lights to shine even brighter.
After that long conference, that challenging week, that serious semester. We recharge and take a break.
Life isn’t always fair, there are days when we are not as strong, and our inner lights weaken. We need to recover when we’re sick. To heal and be strong again.
Light aids us with our healing and recovery, and guide those that will care for us.
Even in the outdoors, life needs to be safeguarded and lighted.
In parking lots, in the pavements, even in our own homes, we need light to always lead our way.
For some of us, living means working and spending long hours inside buildings, factories, shipyards and wide open spaces.
For these workers- our modern day heroes, we want care; and healthy lighting to keep them safe, keep them protected.
As Life and Light starts to dim… life changes, but life goes on.
Life should not be less happy or meaningful.
Even as evening sets in our lives, other lights are there to continue to keep us healthy and enjoying much more.
